Default Question About License Post DUI

My question is about the DUI/DWI laws for the state of California

Hello fellow posters. I got a DUI on 02/03/07, i did everything i was supposed to do, all my classes, and other ordered programs, the DMV suspended my license on February 14th 2007 for 1 year, then i got to court on May 29th of 2007 and they also suspended it for a year in my probation order, (i was 19 at the time of arrest), now i am 21, and i returned to court earlier this month to try to remove the court's suspension because it had been longer than a year, the judge granted me a Restricted license through the rest of the suspension term. I then go to the DMV today to get my restricted license, and the clerk at the dmv says " your all clear, you dont need a restricted you can get your license back" and im like wtf? ok so i get a temporary today, now is this just some mistake that if i drive normally and get pulled over for, im going to get in trouble for violating restrictions? can someone please help?

If you know anything about the DUI laws here, will you please tell me what you think?

I think the DMV screwed up here man. The judge in your DUI case created the law when he said you could get a restricted drivers license. I don't think the DMV can overturn that. Just a hunch, but I think that's right. You better call a DUI attorney and ask them. You may be able to call someone at the court to see what they say.
