Default CHP Arrest

How long after a CHP arrest does a date for arraignment typically get set?
I was arrested for dui 7 weeks ago. I have not recieved notice for an arraignment date and when I call the D.A. office they say they don't have anything under my name. Would like to put this behind me but feel like I can't really apply for new jobs and move forward with life until I know what the outcome will be (some good potential jobs are out of state). Is it unusual for it to take so long for the D.A. to have a complaint pending?
If you have insight or experience with this please post a response.
Thank you.
