You can now add Lebanon County to the list of counties in Pennsylvania ( Dauphin, Cumberland, Perry, York, and Lancaster) that are enforcing the use of DUI bracelets. Lebanon County has authorized the purchasing of up to 30 of the DUI bracelets for the DUI courts, at a cost of $1,500 per bracelet. The parolees will have to pay $12 per day to wear the DUI bracelet.
These DUI bracelets are worn by those convicted of drinking and driving (DWI). They work by monitoring the consumption of alcohol through the skin. The results are tracked by a monitoring station that will relay the information to the appropriate parole officers.
